DECISION
Promulgating the regulation on quality, technical safety and environmental protection inspection in manufacture and assembly of motor vehicles
THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORT
Pursuant to the June 29, 2001 Law on Road Traffic;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 179/2004/ND-CP of October 21, 2004, stipulating the state management over quality of products and goods;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 34/2003/ND-CP of April 4, 2003, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Transport Ministry;
At the proposals of the director of the Vietnam Register, the director of the Science and Technology Department and the director of the Legal Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To promulgate together with this Decision the Regulation on quality, technical safety and environmental protection inspection in manufacture and assembly of motor vehicles.
Article 2.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in "CONG BAO" and replaces the Transport Minister's Decisions No. 2069/2000/QD-BGTVT and No. 2070/2000/QD-BGTVT of July 28, 2000.
Article 3.- The director of the Office, the director of the Science and Technology Department, the director of the Legal Department, the director of the Transportation Department, the director of the Vietnam Road Administration, the director of the Vietnam Register, the directors of provincial/municipal Transport/Traffic and Public Works Services, and the heads of concerned agencies and units shall have to implement this Decision.
