DECISION No. 165/1999/QD-TTg OF AUGUST 10, 1999 ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS QUALITY CONTROL CENTER ATTACHED TO THE GENERAL DEPARTMENT OF POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

THE PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government of September 30, 1992;

Pursuant to the Government�s Decree No. 12/CP of March 11, 1996 on the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the General Department of Post and Telecommunications;

At the proposals of the General Director of Post and Telecommunications and the Minister-Head of the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel,

DECIDES:

Article 1.- To establish the Post and Telecommunications Quality Control Center attached to the General Department of Post and Telecommunications in order to control, inspect, expertise, evaluate and certify the standard conformity regarding the quality of post and telecommunications services, networks, constructions and equipment.

The Post and Telecommunications Quality Control Center is a non-business agency which has revenue, legal-person status, seal and own accounts. Headquarter of the Center is based in Hanoi city.

Article 2.- The functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Center shall be stipulated by the General Director of Post and Telecommunications.

Article 3.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing.

The General Director of Post and Telecommunications, the Minister-Head of the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel, the ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the heads of the agencies attached to the Government, the presidents of the People�s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities shall have to implement this Decision.
