THE MINISTRY OF COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSPORT

CIRCULAR No.323/TT-GTVT of October 3, 1997 guiding the implementation of Decree No.45-CP of April 29, 1997 of the Government (issuing the Model Statute of Communications and Transport Cooperatives) and a number of Articles of Decree No.02-CP of January 2, 1997 and Decree No.16-CP of February 21, 1997 of the Government.

Cooperatives engaged in production, business and services in the field of communications and transport shall apply the Model Statute of Communications and Transport Cooperatives (issued together with Decree No.45-CP of April 29, 1997 of the Government) and guidances in this Circular.

Cooperatives involved in construction of communication projects or in the building, restoration, repair of communications and transport means and equipment, shall, besides complying with the Model Statute of Communications and Transport Cooperatives, have to abide by the Model Statute of the Industrial and Construction Cooperatives.

The Circular also provides guidances on the establishment and transformation of the communications and transport cooperatives, and the issue of communications and transport business licenses.- (Summary)
