The Department for Banks and Non-Bank Credit Institutions is a unit under the State Bank, functioning to assist the Governor in performing the State management over the setting-up, operation and development of credit institutions (excluding cooperative credit institutions), as well as banking activities of other organizations, in order to contribute to ensuring the system safety.
