The Steering Committee for Construction of (new) National Assembly Building and Ba Dinh Hall shall be composed of its head being Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung, 3 deputy heads and 10 members being representatives of the concerned ministries and branches.

The Steering Committee shall have the following functions and powers:

- To direct the implementation of the investment project on construction of (new) National Assembly Building and Ba Dinh Hall at Ba Dinh political center zone, Hanoi, according to the project�s feasible study report approved by the Prime Minister;

- To direct the proposition of specific mechanisms and solutions in the course of preparation and implementation of the project, then submit them to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision;

- To inspect and urge the project implementation by concerned ministries and branches and the People�s Committee of Hanoi city; to decide on measures to handle problems arising in the course of preparation and implementation of the project;

- To direct the cooperation with domestic and foreign organizations and experts in the project preparation and implementation.- (Summary)
