The Central Council for Defense Education shall be composed of Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem as its Chairman, the Minister of Defense and the Minister of Education and Training as its two vice-chairmen, and representatives of the concerned ministries and branches as its members.

The Central Council for Defense Education shall assist the Prime Minister in considering and deciding the orientations, tasks, programs, plans of action and other important works regarding defense education.- (Summary)
