DECISION No.15/1998/QD-TTg of January 24, 1998 on transforming the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Center into a State public utility enterprise.

To transform the Vietnam Air Traffic Management Center from a non-business unit having revenues into a State public utility enterprise attached to the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam. Its statutory capital at the time of transformation is 517,416 million VND.

The Vietnam Air Traffic Management Center, with international transaction name "Vietnam Air Traffic Management (VATM), shall have the legal person status, the civil rights and obligations as provided for by law, take self-responsibility for its operation, conduct business activities within the capital under its management, have its assets, funds and its own seal and be entitled to open bank accounts under the State's regulations; its head office is located at Gia Lam Airport, Hanoi.

The Vietnam Air Traffic Management Center shall have to manage, control and provide air traffic services and other services in order to ensure the safety, harmony and efficiency of flights; receive and efficiently use, preserve and develop capital assigned by the State; receive and efficiently use the land and other resources assigned by the State for the performance of its assigned tasks; organize and manage the research and application of scientific and technological advances and provide training and fostering courses for officials and employees of the Center.- (Summary)
