In order to enhance the management of inter-provincial passenger transportation activities, thus meeting the people�s travel demand and ensuring traffic order and safety, the Minister of Communications and Transport requests the Vietnam Land Road Administration, the Vietnam Registry Department and the provincial/municipal Communications and Transport Services, Communications and Public Works Services to do the following:

- The Vietnam Land Road Administration shall revise all inter-provincial passenger transportation routes and suggest supplements or adjustment to such routes in order to make them suit the actual situation and put an end to overlapping routes; direct and inspect the provincial/municipal Communications and Transport Services, Communications and Public Works Services in the cars owners� operations strictly according to the inter-provincial passenger transportation routes already announced.

- Weekly, the Vietnam Registry Department shall report in writing to the Vietnam Land Road Administration and the provincial/municipal Communications and Transport Services, Communications and Public Works Services the list of passenger cars coming for inspection and expertise, especially those with a use duration of over 20 years, so that the latter can manage them.

- The provincial/municipal Communications and Transport Services, Communications and Public Works Services shall manage the transportation on the inter-provincial passenger transportation routes, promulgated together with the Communications and Transport Minister�s Decisions No. 727/1999/QD-BGTVT of March 24, 1999 and No. 1484/QD-BGTVT of June 22, 1999 announcing the list of inter-provincial passenger transportation routes; increase the number of high-quality passenger transportation routes and manage such routes in accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Communications and Transport.- (Summary)
