The Steering Committee for the financial restructure of commercial banks shall assist the Prime Minister in performing the following tasks:

- Considering plans and strategies on the financial restructure of commercial banks;

- Guiding, urging and inspecting the concerned ministries, ministerial-level agencies, agencies attached to the Government and provincial/municipal People�s Committees in performing the task of the financial restructure of commercial banks;

- Synthesizing and evaluating the results of the financial restructure of commercial banks, so as to report then and propose mechanisms, policies and solutions on the financial restructure of commercial banks to the Prime Minister.-(Summary)
