DECISION No.600-TTg of August 1st, 1997 ratifying the overall planning and stage-I investment in Thai Nguyen university.

To ratify the project on the overall planning of Thai Nguyen university with main contents mentioned in Official Dispatch No.3934-BKH/VPTD of July 1st, 1997 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

To decide the stage-I investment in Thai Nguyen university, including: the project on the renovation and expansion of Thai Nguyen university, which also acts as the project owner; the project spans from 1997 to 2000; the total investment capital: 74.8 billion VND from the State budget; the land area to be used: 300 ha, encompassing Quang Trung and Tan Thinh wards and Thinh Dan commune of Thai Nguyen town; the mode of organizing the investment implementation: through bidding under the current regulation. The investment is aimed at building an infrastructural system and a number of essential projects, renovating and upgrading a number of projects of the Agricultural and Forestrial College, the Medical College and the College of Industrial Techniques; and equipping the new projects with facilities.- (Summary)
