JOINT CIRCULAR No. 02/2004/TTLT-UBDSGDTE-BNV of December 22, 2004 guiding the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structures of the provincial/municipal Committees for Population, Family and Children

The provincial/municipal Committees for Population, Family and Children advise and assist the provincial/municipal People’s Committees in performing the State management over the population, family and children domain in their respective localities as well as public services in the domain; and perform several other tasks and powers authorized by the provincial/municipal People’s Committees according to law provisions.

This Joint Circular takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Joint Circular No. 32/2001/TTLT-BTCCBCP-UBQGDS&KHHGD-UBBV&CSTEVN of June 6, 2001 of the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel (now the Ministry of Home Affairs), the National Committee for Population and Family Planning and Vietnam Committee for Child Protection and Care.- (Summary)
