DECREE No.33-CP ON THE 23RD OF MAY 1995 OF THE GOVERNMENT TO AMEND ITEM 1, ARTICLE 6 OF DECREE No.95-CP ON THE 27TH OF AUGUST 1994 ON COLLECTION OF PARTIAL HOSPITAL FEE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government on the 30th of September, 1992;
At the proposal of the Minister of Health,
DECREES:
Article 1.- To amend Item 1, Article 6 of Decree 95-CP on the 27th of August 1994 on collection of partial hospital fee as follows:
The collection of part of the hospital fee paid by the Health Insurance Agency to patients is a revenue of the State budget to be used according to the following regulations:
- 70% shall be used for the medical examination and treatment establishment which collects that partial hospital fee to supplement the expenditures in medicine, blood, serum, chemicals, X-ray films, medical materials, equipment and appliances for timely treatment of the patients.
- 30% shall be used to remunerate the Government officials and employees who display a high sense of responsibility toward the patients, and who accomplish well their professional duty; of which 2 to 5% shall be remitted by the establishment to the administering agency (the Ministry of Health, the provincial Health Service, the relevant Ministries and branches) to set up a fund of support and reward for units and individuals who have made meritorious achievements in the examination and treatment work and for the hospitals that do not have the conditions to collect the hospital fee.
Article 2.- The Minister of Health, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Head of the Pricing Committee of the Government shall have to guide and organize the implementation of this Decree.
Article 3.- The Ministers, the Heads of the ministerial-level agencies, the Heads of the agencies attached to the Government, and the Presidents of the People's Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government shall have to implement this Decree.
