The Website of the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on the Internet (or the Government's Website), based at the Government's Office, is a governmental information agency, which provides people in the country and foreigners with official information on the Party's undertakings and policies as well as the State's laws; the Government's and the Prime Minister's direction and administration; socio-economic development situation and other domains nationwide on the Internet.

The Government's Website functions to coordinate via-Internet information-supplying activities of administrative agencies of all levels along the direction of serving the information-related public services and the establishment of on-line relationships between the Government and the people.

This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.- (Summary)
