DECREE NoDECREE No. 154/2003/ND-CP of December 9, 2003 on the establishment of wards and communes of My Tho city, Go Cong provincial town and Cai Be rural district, Tien Giang province
To establish Tan Long ward of My Tho city on the basis of the whole land area of 330 ha and the population of 4,723 of Lan Tong commune.
To establish ward 9 of My Tho city on the basis of a land area of 274 ha and a population of 9,270 of Tan My Chanh commune.
To establish ward 10 of My Tho city on the basis of a land area of 69.32 ha and a population of 3,323 of Dao Thanh commune; and a population of 197.26 ha and a population of 6,964 of Trung An commune.
To establish ward 5 of Go Cong provincial town on the basis of a land area of 160 ha and a population of 7,740 of Long Hoa commune.
To split Hoi Cu commune of Cai Be rural district into An Cu and My Hoi communes, which shall have a land area and a population of 1,142.81 ha and 13,733; and 1,377.23 ha and 7,442, respectively.
This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.- (Summary)
