To amend and supplement Article 5 of Decision No. 170/1999/QD-TTg:

Subjects permitted to receive foreign currencies transferred into the country by overseas Vietnamese and deliver them to beneficiaries at home shall include:

1. Licensed credit institutions;

2. Enterprises providing international postal finance service;

3. Economic organizations licensed by Vietnam State Bank to provide foreign currency receiving and delivering services or economic organizations acting as agents for credit institutions in making foreign currency payment in the country.

4. Credit institutions (whether or not licensed to conduct foreign exchange activities) acting as agents for economic organizations licensed to provide foreign currency receiving and delivering services in the country.

5. Credit institutions (whether or not licensed to conduct foreign exchange activities) acting as agents for licensed credit institutions.

This Decision takes effect 15 days after its signing.- (Summary)
