On the Government’s April 2007 regular meeting

On May 3 and 4, the Government held its April regular meeting where it discussed a draft report on the settlement of the 2005 state budget, presented by the Finance Ministry; a report on the 2005 audit results, presented by the State Auditor General; a draft resolution on some solutions to degraded old dormitories, presented by the Construction Minister; a draft resolution on issuance of Government bonds to the international capital market, presented by the Finance Ministry; a draft Ordinance Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the 1993 Ordinance on Enforcement of Imprisonment Sentences, presented by the Public Security Ministry; a report on the decentralization of the state management responsibilities under Resolution No. 08/2004/NQ-CP of June 30, 2004, and a report on administrative reform in April 2007, presented by the Home Affairs Minister; a report on the reform of administrative procedures in the first quarter of 2007, presented by the Minister-Director of the Government Office; a report on the implementation of socio-economic plans in April and the first four months of 2007, presented by the Planning and Investment Ministry, a report on trade situation in April and the first quarter of 2007, presented by the Trade Ministry; and a report on inspection and settlement of complaints and denunciations in the first quarter of 2007 and a report on corruption prevention and combat in April 2007, presented by the Government Inspectorate.- (Summary)
