THE PRIME MINISTER
Directive No. 35/1998/CT-TTg of October 9, 1998 on enhancing the effectiveness of the settlement of complaints and denunciations lodged by citizens at central-level agencies and private homes of the Party and State leading officials
The Prime Minister instructs:
- According to their respective competence prescribed by law, the presidents of the People�s Committees of all levels, especially those of the provinces and centrally-run cities, the ministers, the heads of the ministerial-level agencies and the agencies attached to the Government shall have to pay due attention to and perform their respon-sibilities for settling citizens� complaints and denunciations, including cases to be considered and settled by themselves and cases to be considered and settled by the lower-level agencies under their direction; make citizens lodge their complaints and denunciations according to prescribed procedures.
- To set up the Prime Minister�s working group headed by a leading official of the State Inspectorate and joined by officials from the following ministries and branches: the State Inspectorate, the Ministry of Construction, the General Land Administration, the Ministry of Justice, the Government Commission for Organization and Personnel, the Ministry of Public Security and the Government Office, which shall, under the Prime Minister�s authorization, concentrate on settling complaints and denunciations which have been lodged for a long time at the central-level agencies and private homes of the Party and State leading officials.
- The central committees of the mass organizations and socio-political organizations are requested to guide and direct their member organizations in intensifying the mobilization and education of the people, reconciling disputes and coordinating with the State agencies in settling citizens� complaints and denunciations.- (Summary)
