RESOLUTION

On July 28-29, the Government held its July regular meeting, where:

- It heard the Agriculture and Rural Development Minister's report on the key program on bio-technology development and application in the agriculture and rural development domain till 2020;

- It heard the Education and Training Minister's scheme on renewal of Vietnam's higher education in the 2006-2020 period;

- It examined the Bill Amending a Number of Articles of the Special Consumption Tax Law and Value Added Tax Law; the Cinematography Bill; the Bill on Real Estate Dealing; the draft Ordinance on Foreign Exchange; and the draft Ordinance on Standardization;

- It considered the Planning and Investment Ministry's report on production, business, export, import and investment in July and the first seven months of the year; the Trade Ministry's report on the trade situation in July and the first seven months of the year; and the Government Inspectorate's report on inspection work in the first half of the year and inspection tasks in the second half.- (Summary)
