To issue together with this Decision the Regulation on grades of forest fire forecast and alarm and measures to organize forest fire prevention and fight. This Regulation stipulates the methods for determining grades of forest fire forecast, the alarming regulations as well as measures to organize forest fire prevention and fight for ecological areas in Vietnam.

Grades of forest fire forecast, alarming, prevention and fight comprise 5 grades, from grade I to grade V. The signboard of forest fire prevention and fight alarming grades is a semi-circle with the outside rime of 2.5m in diameter and the inside rime of 1.8m in diameter; white background, edged with red color, with revolving arrow indicating grade I – grade V forecast grades. Signboards of alarming grades are made of metal, located on roads near forests, at forest entrances where many people go in and out, or located at ranger sub-departments and stations, agricultural-forestry farms, agencies and units stationing in forests and near forests... according to the form guided uniformly nationwide by the ranger departments. The methods for calculating forest fire prevention and fight forecast grades and tables of forest fire forecast grades have been promulgated by the People’s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities where exist forests.- (Summary)
