Issued together with this Decision is the political study curriculum used for junior-secondary graduates in intermediate vocational schools.

The political-study subject is a major in the intermediate vocational education framework program, and also a graduation subject. It aims to provide students with fundamental theoretical knowledge of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought as well as policies and viewpoints of the Vietnamese Communist Party, which shall serve as basis for building up their world outlook and scientific methodology, help them orientate their ideals and determine their motives for study according to the objectives of training technicians and professional employees who are politically steadfast and willing to serve the Fatherland and people.

As the enrolment subjects are junior-secondary graduates, for this program, students must both complete the Citizen Education study subject’s program at senior-secondary level and improve it to meet the requirements on knowledge and skills of the political study curriculum according to the objectives of training technicians and professional employees. When teaching it, teachers must combine it with the practical situation of intermediate-vocational training disciplines as well as necessary capabilities, qualities and moralities for students to practice their job and well perform the assigned tasks when they graduate from schools.- (Summary)
