DECREE No. 70/1998/ND-CP of September 4, 1998 on the establishment of wards and communes of Quy Nhon city and Hoai An district, Binh Dinh province

To establish Ly Thuong Kiet ward in Quy Nhon city with a land area of 64.3 ha and a population of 7,888 on the basis of rearranging 22 ha of land area and 334 people of Ngo May ward; 21 ha of land area and 6,373 people of Le Hong Phong ward; and 21.3 ha of land area and 1,181 people of Tran Phu ward.

To establish Thi Nai ward in Quy Nhon city with a land area of 186.9 ha and a population of 10,100 on the basis of rearranging 172.6 ha of land area and 5,979 people of Dong Da ward; and 14.3 ha of land area and 4,121 people of Tran Hung Dao ward.

To establish An Tuong Dong and An Tuong Tay communes of Hoai An district on the basis of the total land area and population of An Tuong commune. An Tuong Dong commune shall have a land area of 6,006 ha and a population of 5,127. Meanwhile, An Tuong Tay commune shall have a land area of 5,314 ha and a population of 7,196.- (Summary)
