The central tasks of the 2003 judicial work are:

- To raise the quality and ensure the tempo of institution-building work;

- To continue making a strong improvement in the execution of civil judgments;

- To provide free-of-charge law dissemination and education as well as legal support for the grassroots, thus contributing to raising the sense of law observance and settling legal problems of people;

- To expeditiously settle problems; simplify administrative procedures; enhance the State management efficiency and effectiveness in the fields of judicial support and administration; raise the public-duty responsibility and professional ethics of officials and public servants in this domain;

- To consolidate and strengthen the organizational apparatus system, and to build the contingent of judicial officials who are clear, strong and on par with their tasks;

- To heighten the responsibility to scrutinize communications and settle complaints and denunciations strictly according to law provisions; and to enhance examination and inspection of the judicial work.- (Summary)
