This Decision, which takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 118/2000/QD-BNN-BVTV of November 20, 2000 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, promulgates the Regulation on procedures for checking objects and making plant quarantine dossiers.

The Plant Protection Department prescribes in detail the procedures and technical manipulations for inspecting objects subject to the plant quarantine, applicable to various modes of transportation, packaging, preservation and each group of objects; manipulations of inspecting each harmful organism in each group of objects; manipulations of investigating harmful organisms in each type of cultivation plant and imported useful organisms.

Each plant quarantine dossier comprises 16 kinds of papers made according to the set forms enclosed with this Decision.

This Regulation applies to organizations and individuals engaged in activities related to the plant quarantine in the Vietnamese territory.- (Summary)
