Under this Decision, which takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette, Article 2 of the above-said Decision No. 1247/2003/QD-NHNN is amended as follows:

"This Decision takes effect as from July 1, 2004 and replaces the State Bank Governor's Decision No. 59/2000/QD-NHNN2 of February 22, 2000 promulgating the Regulation on the system of codes of banks, credit institutions and State treasuries, which open their accounts at the State Bank for direct payment transactions, and Decision No. 412/2002/QD-NHNN of April 25, 2002 on the issuance of bank codes in the inter-bank electronic payment system.

Other previous documents on bank codes for use in via-State Bank payment which are contrary to this Decision cease to be effective."- (Summary)
