RESOLUTION

On January 30 and 31, the Government held its regular meeting where it discussed the Bill on Special Amnesty, presented by the Public Security Minister, a draft decree on transformation of state enterprises into joint-stock companies, presented by the Finance Ministry, a draft decree on policies toward laborers who become redundant due to the restructuring of state companies, presented by the Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Minister, and a report on comments of the cabinet members on the draft decree on sanctions against administrative violations in the domain of national reserves.

It considered a draft Program of action of the Government on the implementation of Resolution of the IVth plenum of the Xth Party Central Committee on some major undertakings and policies for quick and sustainable economic development after accession to the WTO, presented by the Trade Minister, a draft Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee providing limits on the transfer of agricultural land use rights applicable to households and individuals for agricultural production, presented by the Natural Resources and Environment Minister.

It also debated a report on the inspection work and settlement of complaints and denunciations in 2006, presented by the Government Inspector General, a report on socio-economic situation in January 2007, presented by the Planning and Investment Minister, and a report on commercial situation in January 2007, presented by the Trade Minister.- (Summary)
