This Decree provides for electricity safety in the production, transmission, distribution and use of electricity, aiming to ensure the safety for human beings as well as electric equipment, facilities and works.

This Decree applies to all organizations and individuals, that are engaged in electricity activities, use electricity or manufacture electric equipment as well as other concerned organizations and individuals in Vietnamese territory.

This Decree takes effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.- (Sumamry)
