Decision No.168-TTg of March 22, 1996 of the Prime Minister on the arrangement of the non-business units under the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam.

To place the Vietnam Aviation School and the Aviation Medical Center directly under the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam. These are non-business units having legal person status, their own seals and their bank accounts.

The Head of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam shall define the tasks, powers and organizational structures of the above-mentioned units. He shall also decide the official personnel of these units within the total payroll of the Civil Aviation Administration of Vietnam.

The Vietnam Aviation School is head-quartered in Ho Chi Minh City. The head office of the Aviation Medical Center is located in Hanoi.- (Summary)
