DECISION No. 682/2004/QD-NHNN OF JUNE 4, 2004 CANCELING BANK CODES AND AMENDING PAYMENT TRANSACTION NAMES OF JOINT-VENTURE BANKS AND FOREIGN BANKS' BRANCHES PRESCRIBED AT POINTS D AND E, CLAUSE 3, ARTICLE 5 OF THE STATE BANK GOVERNOR'S DECISION No. 59/2000/QD-NHNN2 OF FEBRUARY 22, 2000 PROMULGATING THE REGULATION ON THE SYSTEM OF CODES OF BANKS, CREDIT INSTITUTIONS AND STATE TREASURIES, WHICH OPEN THEIR ACCOUNTS AT THE STATE BANK FOR DIRECT PAYMENT TRANSACTIONS
THE STATE BANK GOVERNOR
Pursuant to the December 12, 1997 State Bank Law and the June 17, 2003 Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Vietnam State Bank;
Pursuant to the December 12, 1997 Law on Credit Institutions;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP of November 5, 2002 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structures of the ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
At the proposal of the director of the Finance-Accounting Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To cancel code number 603 of Credit Lyonnais Bank prescribed at Point e, Clause 3, Article 5 of the State Bank Governor's Decision No. 59/2000/QD-NHNN2 of February 22, 2000 promulgating the Regulation on the system of codes of banks, credit institutions and State treasuries, which open their accounts at the State Bank for direct payment transactions.
Article 2.- To amend ordinal number 4 at Point d and ordinal number 20 at Point e, Clause 3, Article 5 of the State Bank Governor's Decision No. 59/2000/QD-NHNN2 of February 22, 2000 promulgating the Regulation on the system of codes of banks, credit institutions and State treasuries, which open their accounts at the State Bank for direct payment transactions as follows:

Article 3.- This Decision takes implemen-tation effect 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4.- The director of the Office, the director of the Finance-Accounting Department, the director of the Banking Informatics Technology Department, the heads of the units under Vietnam State Bank, the directors of the State Bank's provincial/municipal branches, and general directors (directors) of credit institutions and State treasuries shall have to implement this Decision.
