The provincial/municipal Finance-Pricing Departments shall have the tasks of managing the enterprise finance as follows:

- To assist the People�s Committees of the provinces and centrally-run cities and the Finance Ministry in exercising the State management over the finance of enterprises in their respective localities.

- To assist the provincial People�s Committees in managing the State capital and property at enterprises, which have been set up or had their capital contributed by the localities.

- To manage the Financial Funds in Support of Local Enterprises as authorized by the presidents of the provincial People�s Committees.

- To perform other tasks assigned by the Finance Minister or the presidents of the provincial People�s Committees.

- To be subject to the guidance and inspection of the Enterprise Finance Department in terms of the professional management of enterprise finance as well as the management of State capital and property at enterprises.

The provincial/municipal Finance-Pricing Departments shall have the following powers in the enterprise finance management:

- To be entitled to conduct direct transactions with State organizations and agencies for the performance of the assigned tasks.

- To request the State enterprises and other enterprises in the localities to send financial statements and documents related to the investment and business activities as well as the financial activities as prescribed by law.

- To be competent to decide the regular or irregular inspection of the financial situation of enterprises as prescribed by law and handle financial matters of enterprises in accordance with the State financial policies and regimes; to request enterprises to supply and clarify documents related to the inspection and supervision of their financial situation and the capital management thereat according to the provisions of law.

- To sign documents guiding and explaining the regimes of enterprise finance management and the management of State capital at enterprises.

In Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Quang Ninh, Hai Duong, Thanh Hoa, Dong Nai, Binh Duong and Ba Ria- Vung Tau, there will be enterprise finance sub-departments attached to the provincial/municipal Finance-Pricing Departments.
