DECISION
Promulgating a List of diseases which must be declared as epidemics; a List of dangerous animal diseases; and a List of diseases subject to the application of compulsory preventive measures
THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT
Pursuant to the April 29, 2004 Ordinance on Animal Health;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 33/2005/ND-CP of March 15, 2005, detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Ordinance on Animal Health;
Pursuant to the Government's Decree No. 86/2003/ND-CP of July 18, 2003, defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
At the proposal of the Director of the Animal Health Department,
DECIDES:
Article 1.- To issue together with this Decision a list of diseases which must be declared as epidemics, a list of dangerous animal diseases, and a list of diseases subject to the application of compulsory preventive measures.
Article 2.- This Decision takes effect 15 days after its publication in "CONG BAO" and replaces the Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry's Decision No. 1242 NN-TY/QD of July 24, 1996, promulgating lists of animal diseases subject to compulsory vaccination, declaration of epidemics, periodical inspection, banned from obduction, or subject to compulsory culling or slaughtering.
Article 3.- The Director of the Animal Health Department, heads of concerned units, organizations and individuals shall have to implement this Decision.
