Issued together with this Decision was the Regulation on specialized senior secondary schools, which prescribes the organization, educational activities and administration of specialized senior secondary schools.

Specialized senior secondary schools are set up at the senior secondary education level, reserved for those pupils who have obtained splendid results in their study, aiming to develop their aptitudes for several study subjects on the basis of ensuring the all-round general education.

Specialized senior secondary schools are set up in the following forms:

- Specialized senior secondary schools under the provinces and centrally-run cities;

- Specialized senior secondary schools under the national universities, regional universities and pedagogic universities.- (Summary)
